Kiyin Cheng wins the first year (2009) Nong's Scholarship sponsored by Trenex Herbal Solutions, Inc.
This is the first time in school history that one of our students won the Nong' Scholarship provided by Trenex Herbal Solutions, Inc. The qualifications for this scholarship:
1. Must be a full time matriculated student at the NYCTCM.
2. Must be enrolled in the Oriental Medicine Program at least 25 credits for each qualified academic year.
3. Must have earned an average 3.9 GPA for each qualified academic year.
Ki YIn Cheng is enrolled for a total of 50 credits and his GPA was 3.97 during the academic year 2008 - 2009. He has the most credits earned and the highest GPA among three candidates.
Janic Sau-Yuk Lam, Phillis Sau-Wai Lam and Katherine Ann Scofield received Academic Excellence Award (2008 - 2009)
The winners had to carry a minimum of 12 credits each trimester and have achieved a GPA of 4.0 in the academic year of 2008 - 2009.
Eastern Nutrition Recipes
In the Eastern Nutrition Class, a study of nutrition is presented from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine. The recipes include the healthful function of each dish and each ingredient.
