Implementing EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to Facilitate Positive Clinical Results

NCCAOM approved course providing 8 CEU’s

ETF Points Susan DavisThis seminar is designed for practicing healthcare practitioners as well as students who are engaged in some clinical experience in their academic schedule.

EFT is a form of energy psychology, which combines physical tapping on acupuncture points combined with verbalization . Negative emotions are neutralized as meridian blocks are cleared. When an emotional trigger is activated, the technique can help change the patient’s neurological response, thus helping them move forward in a more comprehensive and lasting way.

The seminar is interactive. The first segment involves teaching the EFT protocol. This includes muscle testing and re-calibrating to assure that the patient is congruent with participating in the process. Once corrections have been made and readiness has been established, tapping and verbalization is taught and demonstrated. Not only will the participants experience how the process feels, but also have the opportunity to practice the technique on others during the afternoon session.

Because everyone is involved in clinical practice, feedback from recipients of the process is extremely important in learning how to manage the unfolding of each session. There will be adequate time for discussion of these observations and findings.

About EFT

(EFT) is an incredible tool that has been used for about 10 years to help people overcome a wide variety of physical and emotional discomforts. It is easy enough to be mastered by most people. The use of this technique is relatively new and may be a part of the beginning of a complete revolution in the way we handle our emotions. In many cases, difficulties that have persisted in spite of years of work using the methods of traditional psychology may be relieved in minutes. If not, relief is generally possible within days or weeks rather than years.

At times, it is hard to believe that such a simple technique can have such profound effects on such a wide variety of discomforts. EFT does not work on every single issue, but it appears to be effective 90% of the time.

Using EFT for all aspects of a particular problem increases its effectiveness. Sometimes the results are almost unbelievable! It seems to produce permanent effects for many conditions. If a condition returns, repeated EFT sessions will usually release the condition and treating all "aspects" of the problem stabilizes the results.

EFT addresses such issues as:

  1. Chronic Pain
  2. Trauma
  3. Depression/Anxiety
  4. Belief & Behavior Change
  5. Athletic Performance
  6. Academic Success
